Mr Singh has been practicing law for 10 years and is head of the Immigration, Family and Civil Litigation Departments. He advises on all areas of UK immigration, nationality law, family and children matters, wills and probate and debt recovery matters

Over the years he has brought successful challenges to the immigration decisions in the Immigration Tribunals and High Courts and has dealt with complex and substantial litigation, in the County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal.

Mr Singh holds a Masters in International and Commercial Law from the University of Greenwich, London and completed his professional courses from Oxford Brooks University.

In addition to a Solicitor, he is an accredited immigration adviser. He is registered with the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) at the highest level 3 to provide immigration advice.

Recent highlights of work

Litigation, Consumer and Property Disputes, Landlord and Tenant:

  • Handled a claim worth £19 million against the client and assisted the partner of the firm throughout the litigation process
  • Successfully defended a possession claim in the High Court against a high profile lender with a six figures costs settlement
  • Assisted counsel in a settling pleadings, liaised with the High Court foreign office to serve proceedings outside UK’s jurisdiction under Hague convention
  • Represented client at the hearing in the County Court, successfully obtained possession order for the landlord and persuaded the court to grant a money judgement with full costs
  • Defended a housing Tenant against the possession of her property
  • Claim against an unlawful forfeiture of the lease in which achieved a five figure settlement for the client
  • Drafted and lodged applications for stay and permission to appeal in the Chancery Appeals and the Court of Appeal

Professional Negligence Claim:

  • Successfully achieved a five-figure settlement for a client against the personal injury law firm

Bankruptcy and Debt Recovery:

  • Successfully defended a statutory demand of £500,000 in the High Court
  • Made successful application to annul the bankruptcy on behalf of a client
  • Negotiated with the creditor to make an application to annul the bankruptcy order by consent
  • Defended various frivolous application for adjournment on health grounds and successfully obtained a bankruptcy order against the debtor
  • Supervised a trainee solicitor in the claim for recovery of money involving international jurisdiction

Wills and Probate:

  • Successfully defended a claim against client’s mother who had sought a reasonable provision in the Will
  • Dealt with various probate matters
  • Assisted client in obtaining letters of administration where there was a dispute regarding the family home

Wills and Probate Family: Divorce and Separation, Child Arrangements:

  • Obtained child arrangement order for the father by consent
  • COA for the mother who was living overseas
  • Dealt with clients in divorce petitions both defended and undefended


  • Succeeded at the first-tier tribunal with a paper hearing where the Judge found the preparation of the case very helpful. In his judgement, the Judge concluded that without the help of the carefully drafted written statements the tribunal was unlikely to understand the case
  • Represented a global company in its sponsor licence application and successfully secured restricted certificates of sponsorship for them to deliver a multimillion project to repair the Houses of Parliament
  • Assistant partner in the firm to bring Judicial Review claim in the High Court for a Tier 2 sponsor. The said case and judgement were extensively reported
  • Successfully challenged a civil penalty imposed upon a large business for allegedly employing illegal migrant workers
  • Secured a Tier 2 permit for a skilled chef required by a leading London restaurant
  • Inter-country adoption matters, human rights applications including families and young children

Personal Injury:

  • Achieved a five-figure out of court settlement for the client who was involved in an accident with the Royal Convoy
  • Dealt with personal injury case work load, lodged claims on RTA Portal, dealt with medical and engineer reports
  • Negotiated with insurance providers and made Part 36 offers and counter offers
  • Followed claims procedure with all new protocols

Employment and Conveyancing:

  • Followed claims procedure with all new protocols Dealt with unfair dismissal and redundancy matters
  • Dealt with the sale and purchase of residential property matters and commercial leases
